DESIGNature was born in 2007 to create fabulous hand-crafted artistic furnishings.<\/p>\n
Originally started in South Korea under the name of Le Marais Art & Furniture, countless spaces were transformed by our unique furniture, interior design, decorations, accessories and painting.<\/p>\n
After ten years in Canada, now living at the gateway to Desolation sound in Lund , British Columbia, artists Yeonmi Kim and Andrew Henderson thrive in the beauty and abundance of nature. With\u00a0multiple talents , the couple combines their love of travel, adventure, and nature with art to create colorful and unique objects that enrich daily life.<\/p>\n
Over many disciplines, we create functional and decorative artwork with sustainable living in mind. From sewing to lighting, sofas to living spaces, our skill sets and passions have few boundaries as we continue to explore our creative expressions.\u00a0 DesigNature thrives to fulfill our customers\u2019 desire for beautiful, functional pieces that will last a lifetime and be easy on the environment.<\/p>\n
DesigNature uses new and reclaimed woods, inspired colors, and original designs while ensuring high standards of durable craft work.<\/p>\n
Using antique wood makes for rich colors and rustic textures that showcase the raised grain. Natural traditional oils and waxes ensure longevity and protection.<\/p>\n
